Internship responsibilities include assistance with implementation of the Animals and Us summer day camp for children. Interns will assist with daily preparations, supervise children, lead camp activities, and develop and present humane education programs. Students will have the opportunity to participate in other aspects of the humane society, such as animal care, adoptions, and observation of dog temperament testing.
Availability
The internship will run from June-August and will require half-day morning shifts Monday-Friday (exact dates and times to be discussed with supervisor). Interns will be expected to work during times when summer camps are ongoing.
