The minor in Animal Sciences is designed to provide students with a basic understanding and knowledge of a secondary subject matter area of their choice. Subject matter areas include animal production and management, nutrition, genetics, animal behavior, immunology, meat science/muscle biology, microbiology, reproductive physiology, and molecular biology.

To declare the minor, fill out the Statement of Intent to Pursue a Minor, and one of our advisors will approve it or respond with any questions or concerns they may have.
