ACES graduates get first-hand experience related to today’s global challenges through over 400 study abroad opportunities in more than 60 countries. While students are free to choose from any of these opportunities, the Department of Animal Sciences has helped identify several study abroad opportunities that may be of particular interest to our students.

Those interested in studying abroad should also look into our faculty-led programs like the ACES in Costa Rica: VIDA Pre-Vet Study Tour and the ACES in South Africa Wildlife Discovery programs. Not only are these excellent ways for students to gain hands-on experience in their field of study, these study abroad programs can also fulfill the ANSC 398 Experiential Learning requirement.

For more information on studying abroad or to browse through the different programs you can visit College of ACES Academic Programs or Illinois Abroad and Global Exchange.
